The Himalayan Rescue Association Nepal (HRA) greatly participated in the Full Scale Emergency Exercise organized by Tribhuvan International Airport Civil Aviation Office on 15th June, 2022. 

Firstly, Mr. Gobinda Bashyal, Chief Executive of HRA received a call from TIA Emergency call center at 3:20 PM requesting a help to rescue victims. HRA Rescue team which included Internationally Certified Mountain Guides and long line rescue specialist moved to the accidental area immediately. Two victims were spotted on a cliff terrain. Therefore, fixed rope line was set up immediately. Victims were carefully reassessed and stabilized on the spot by the rescue team members. Helicopter longline rescue was arranged to evacuate both victims.  Soon after the first Helicopter long line rescue was made, second victim was also evacuated the same way. The rescue team was making sure of no other casualties remaining in the area. The team of Longline Rescue Specialist and Internationally Certified Mountain Guides were very quick to take the action and accomplished the task very efficiently.
