It was great meeting with Mr. Dean Cardinale, the Founder of Human Outreach Project (HOP) & World Wide Trekking and Mr. Fur Geljen Sherpa, Nepal Representative-HOP Nepal at HRA Head Office in Lazimpat, Kathmandu on 30th April, 2022. HRA Vice-Chairman Mr. Kumar Ranabhat and Treasurer Mr. Sushil Adhikari along with Gobinda Bashyal, Chief Executive of HRA present at the meeting. The meeting was focused on planning of rebuilding the HRA Pheriche Aid-post building with extra facilities and bigger space as well as build with modern earthquake proof technologies.
We are very happy to announce that the Human Outreach Project is going to re-build HRA Pheriche Aid-post near future. We appreciate your support to achieve the goal of saving the life of the people in the mountain. We assure you that more needy people will receive treatment and health advice from the facilitated building.
It is worth mentioning that the Human Outreach Project has already built a lecture hall at Pheriche Aid-post recently and also rebuilt the HRA Manang Aid-post building in 2018. The HRA Manang Aid-post has been continuously providing health services to mountaineers, trekkers, guides, porters as well as local population in the area of Manang village from this building. Similarly, the Lecture Hall at Pheriche Aid-post is very instrumental to provide lectures on Altitude Illness and its prevention as well as other Mountain Hazards to mountaineers and trekkers trekking Everest Base Camp Trek.
