Deputy Head of Mission, Australian Embassy Mr. Damien Dunn, handed over medical equipment worth Rs. 960,000 (under Embassy’s 2012-13 DAP Grant) to HRA Chairman, Mr. Santa Subba amidst HRA Executive Members, Authorities of Nepal Tourism Board, Chairman of various Association, government officials and media person at the HRA Office on 27th February, 2013 (2069.11.16) Wednesday. The embassy has donated these equipment to HRA to use its aid-posts at Manang and Pheriche and Everest Base Camp Medical Clinic as well.
HRA Chairman Mr. Santa Subba welcomed to the Chief Guest, Deputy Head of Mission, Australian Embassy Mr. Damien Dunn and all the guests presented at the program and also he highlighted on the activities of HRA which has been done since its establishment. He expressed sincere gratitude to the embassy for their continued and very significant support to HRA. He also pledged that HRA would keep on life saving work with the help of these equipment. Speaking in the program, Mr. Damien Dunn appreciated HRA’s services which has been provided to the Australian citizens and other people in the Himalayas since long time. The Convenor of medical equipment procurement committee and IP Chairman of HRA Mr. Bikarm Neupane extended thanked to Australian Embassy for their support. HRA CEO, Mr. Prakash Adhikari has highlighted the importance and usefulness of these donated equipments. At the last, Mr. Prakash Adhikari thanked to all the guests presented at the program.
