Himalayan Rescue Association Nepal (HRA) in association with Tourist Guides Association of Nepal (TURGAN) organized a half day training programme on “High Altitude Sickness” to educate Tourist Guide about High Altitude Sickness. Training Programme was focused on educating guides about Altitude Sickness, its symptoms, acclimatization process, prevention of High Altitude Sickness and basic treatment. The training programme was held on Tuesday, 17th September, 2019 (2076.5.31) at the HRA Office, Dhobichaur, Lazimpat, Kathmandu.
Chairman of HRA, Mr. Narendra Deo Bhatta welcomed all the participants and highlighted about the training programme. Chief Executive, Mr. Prakash Adhikari highlighted about HRA and its activities in saving lives in the Nepal Himalayas. Officer Mr. Gobinda Bashyal talked about High Altitude Sickness & other accidents and illness that can be encountered in the mountains.
Chairman, Mr. Narendra Deo Bhatta and President of TURGAN, Mr. Kedar Tamang jointly presented certificate & Khada to all the participants. At the end, Chairman, Mr. Narendra Deo Bhatta thanked to all the participants in the training programme. There were 34 participants in the training programme.
